SELTSAME ERDEN
„Seltsame Erden“ ist ein Mix aus Komposition und Improvisation auf einem Eurorack Modular-Synthesizer. Das modulare Instrument besteht aus etwa 50 Modulen, die in sechs Stimmen aufgeteilt sind. Alle Stimmen können unabhängig voneinander gespielt werden, sind aber tonal und rhythmisch (weitgehend) aufeinander abgestimmt. Dazu gliedert sich eine polyphone Stimme.
Vorkomponierte, absolute oder abstrakte Musik trifft auf Improvisation, v.a. durch Effekte. Mit dem farbig beleuchteten hexagonalen Keyboard mit 250 Tasten können unterschiedlichste Stimmungen und Skalen gespielt werden.
„Seltsame Erden“ bezieht auf die sogenannten Seltenen Erden, die in der Natur gar nicht so selten sind, dafür aber oft seltsame Eigenschaften haben. Ähnlich ist es für Künstler Christian Z. Müller mit elektronischer Musik, v.a. wegen der fast atomaren Zusammensetzung des modularen Synthesizers.

“Seltsame Erden” is a blend of composition and improvisation on a Eurorack modular synthesizer. The modular instrument consists of about 50 modules divided into six voices. All voices can be played independently of one another, but are (largely) harmonized tonally and rhythmically. Interwoven is a polyphonic voice.
Pre-composed, absolute, or abstract music meets improvisation, primarily through effects. The color-illuminated hexagonal keyboard with 250 keys allows for the performance of a wide variety of tunings and scales.
“Strange Earths” refers to the so-called rare earth elements, which are not actually that rare in nature but often possess strange properties. For artist CnZsMr, electronic music is similar, primarily because of the almost atomic composition of the modular synthesizer.
