PORTALVISION
Interaktive Installation, 2025‘PortalVision’ ist eine multisensorische Medieninstallation, die beispielhaft für ein selbstentwickeltes textiles Interface konzipiert und umgesetzt wurde. Die Installation richtet sich dank ihrer einfachen Nutzungsweise an Besucher*innen jeden Alters und lädt zum Interagieren, Entdecken und Staunen ein. Durch Hineindrücken in die Projektionsfläche können Nutzer*innen in die Tiefen der Ozeane eintauchen, Visionen in den Flammen entdecken oder ferne Botschaften aus dem All empfangen. Ein tieferes Hineindrücken in der Mitte reicht aus, um mühelos von einer Welt zur nächsten zu navigieren. Die dehnbare textile Oberfläche des Portals ermöglicht ein unmittelbares, haptisches Begreifen der Installation.
Das multisensorische Spektakel entstand im Rahmen des Masterstudiengangs Multimedia Design an der Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle.

‘PortalVision’ is a multisensory media installation that was designed and implemented as an example of a self-developed textile interface. Thanks to its ease of use, the installation is aimed at visitors of all ages and invites them to interact, discover, and marvel. By pressing into the projection surface, users can dive into the depths of the oceans, discover visions in the flames, or receive distant messages from space. Pressing deeper into the center is enough to navigate effortlessly from one world to the next. The stretchy textile surface of the portal allows for an immediate, haptic understanding of the installation.
The multisensory spectacle was created as part of the master's program in multimedia design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle.
