interaktive Installation mit 12 Iphones, 2025‘Panégoptique’ (übers.: Panoptikum, Kuriositätenkabinett) ist eine interaktive Installation, die die Gesichter zweier Besucher:innen zu unheimlichen Porträts verschmilzt und dabei Identität, Eitelkeit und technologische Vermittlung thematisiert. Zwölf veraltete, aber funktionsfähige iPhones, erkennen und fotografieren Gesichter, senden die Bilder an ein zentrales System, das sie in 3D-Modelle umwandelt und miteinander verschmilzt. Die Installation regt zum Nachdenken über Veralterung, biologische Überwachung und die kulturelle Bedeutung der Selbstdarstellung an.

‘Panégoptique’ is an interactive installation that merges the faces of two visitors into spooky portraits, exploring themes of identity, vanity, and technological mediation. Twelve outdated but functional iPhones recognize and photograph faces, sending the images to a central system that converts them into 3D models and merges them together. The installation encourages reflection on obsolescence, biological surveillance, and the cultural significance of self-representation.
