MATHIEU ZURSTRASSEN (BE):
A Micro-computer records the tweets posted by the current President of the United-States on one hand and by a "Love Quotes" tweeter account on the other. Every 25 seconds, on and off from both sides, a digital voice reads the Tweets to two beakers containing cooked rice. The automated installation has a duration of thirty days and tries to reproduce the famous rice experiment of the self proclaimed Dr Masaru Emoto.

1980 legte der selbsternannte »Doktor« Masaru Emoto gleiche Portionen von gekochtem Reis in zwei Behälter. Auf den ersten schrieb er »Danke«, auf den anderen »Du Idiot«. Kinder lasen den Text jeden Tag vor. Nach 30 Tagen war der Reis im »Danke«-Behälter kaum verändert, der andere wurde schwarz. Diese Arbeit geht ähnlich vor: Ein Computer sammelt Tweets des US-Präsidenten, aber auch eines »Love Quotes«-Twitter-Accounts. Alle 25 Sekunden liest eine Stimme die Tweets den beiden Bechern mit gekochtem Reis vor. Was wird passieren?
