NETZKUNST IM WAHRSTEN SINNE DES WORTES
JENS VETTER (LINZ, AT): Bereits 2015 schuf Jens Vetter eine erste Version der interaktiven Klang-Installation »Netz«. Seitdem befasst er sich mit Aspekten der allgegenwärtigen Nutzung von Technologie und verwendet Vorlagen aus der Natur. In diesem Fall dient ein Spinnennetz als Inspiration, als Metapher einer technisierten Umgebung. Das »Netz 2.0« ist eine Art »environmental instrument«, das mit netzartigen Topologien den gesamten Körper bei der Erzeugung von Klängen herausfordert.

JENS VETTER (LINZ, AT): NETZ 2.0 is a sonic interactive installation, based on the work NETZ (2015) by Jens Vetter. The work addresses aspects of the ubiquitous use of technology and uses templates from nature, in this case the web of spiders, as a methaphor of a mechanized environment. At the same time, it represents a kind of "environmental instrument" that uses net-like topologies to challenge the entire body when generating sounds.
