LUKAS LAUERMANN (AT): Er ist Cellist in gefeierten Bands wie Soap&Skin, Der Nino aus Wien und Donauwellenreiter. Nun erscheint sein Debütalbum, mit dem Lukas Lauermann Erinnerungsräume und Sehnsuchtsorte öffnet. Bei aller Experimentierfreude changiert seine Musik zwischen intellektueller Ernsthaftigkeit aka E-Musik und der Unmittelbarkeit von Pop. LUKAS LAUERMANN (AT): He plays the cello with celebrated bands (Soap&Skin, Der Nino aus Wien, Donauwellenreiter, a.o.), writes and plays music for theatre and film productions. "How I Remember Now I Remember How“ invites us to listen into “the great spaces all around” – spaces of memory, chambers of sensation, places of yearning. Yet for all his joy in experimenting the music of Lukas Lauermann oscillates between the intellectual earnestness of classical concert halls and the directness of pop music. He feels at home in both worlds.
