Hess Jeons "Wasserdrucker" verwendet Leitungswasser oder natürliche Wasserquellen. Nach dem Vorbild von 3D-Druckern ist der Kalkulator eine CNC-Maschine, eine Werkzeugmaschine, die auf präzises Arbeiten ausgelegt ist. Im harten Kontrast zur chaotischen Natur des Wassers; erforscht er den Grenzgang zwischen kontrollierter und unkontrollierbarer Dynamik. Kalkulator V.1 produziert Drucke aus verschiedenen verfügbaren Wasservorkommen, mitunter angereichert von Mineralien, Mikroorganismen und organische Materialien. Die Drucke sind somit einzigartiger und originärer Abdruck der Quelle.

    Hess Jeon's "water printer" uses tap water or natural water sources. Modeled after 3D printers, the calculator is a CNC machine, a machine tool designed to work with precision. In harsh contrast to the chaotic nature of water, it explores the borderline between controlled and uncontrollable dynamics. Kalkulator V.1 produces prints from various available water sources, sometimes enriched by minerals, microorganisms and organic materials. The prints are thus unique and original imprint of the source.
