ALEXANDER PETERHAENSEL (BERLIN):
Smile to Vote – Political Physiognomy Analytics is a speculative Sciart project that reflects upon the implications of AI on privacy and democratic processes. By means of AI-based facial scanning, the Smile to Vote—voting booth gages the political conviction of any given person and emulates the process of digitally casting a vote at a federal election by simply looking into a camera.

Smile to Vote – Political Physiognomy Analytics ist ein spekulatives Medienkunstprojekt, das über die Auswirkungen von KI auf Privatspäre und Demokratie reflektiert. Die KI - Wahlkabine errechnet aus Gesichts-Scans innerhalb von Sekunden die politischen Gesinnung einer beliebigen Person und simuliert eine vollautomatisierte Stimmabgabe bei einer Bundestagswahl durch blosses Blicken in eine Kamera.
