Welcome to the 13th Augsburg art laboratory - lab30 festival!
Since 11 years international media artists meet in Kulturhaus abraxas for three resp. four days to celebrate the Augsburg art laboratory lab30. Thoroughly experimental since its beginnings, the festival attracts visitors who want to be surprised by innovative works between arts and technique. The artists were and are from the USA and Japan, Canada and Korea. They show their installations, performances and concerts and generate an electrifying and cosmopolitan atmosphere at Kulturhaus abraxas in Augsburg.
See, listen and do it yourself!
This year's projects call up the desire to explore. You'll find more about that in the menu-folder »exhibition« and in the schedules for each festival-day.
Because the artists' agglomerate imaginativeness can be infectuous, the festival offers a wide variety of workshops and programmes called »LabLabor 2.0«. This programme is supported by Kulturfonds Bayern Unterricht und Kultus. The offered workshops aim for schools as well as families and adventurous tinkers. In the menu you'll find this years offers in the folder »Lablabor 2.0«.
We thank the Kulturfonds Bayern Unterricht und Kultus and our generous sponsors, Aufwind, the Kinder- und Jugendstiftung der Stadtsparkasse Augsburg as well as Stadtsparkasse Augsburg itself, who guaranteed the necessary planning reliability to our festival. We also owe thanks to Neuland Multimedia, Phaesun, to Gruppe 20 and as well as to our media partner, Augsburger Allgemeine. Furthermore, we wouldn't be able to host this festival without our partners, the project Mehr Musik! and Junges Theater Augsburg.
Join us - and never stop asking!
